SportSpired Games is looking for a Project Manager to help us drive production and support our talented game design team as we build a next-generation AAA sports title. SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, The Walt Disney Company, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, MY·GAMES, Yandex, and EA Sports. We are working on an ambitious AAA title scheduled for release in 2028–2029.
Responsibilities
- Participate in sprint and production planning alongside project managers and directors
- Optimize existing workflows and introduce new operational processes to the game design team
- Track the status of game design tasks on a regular basis, including blockers, updates, and overall progress.
- Maintain operational oversight of tasks, including deadlines, clarity, formatting, and current production stage.
- Support the Creative Director and Game Design Leads in designer development: identifying growth areas, structuring feedback, and assisting with performance reviews
- Help onboard new designers and guide them through team processes
- Contribute to resource planning: hiring needs, replacements, rotations, and coverage of key areas
- Maintain and improve internal documentation for game design processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the games industry, preferably as a Project Manager, Producer, or Team Lead
- Solid understanding of game design processes and the full feature development lifecycle from concept to release
- Experience working on large-scale F2P projects with cross-functional teams is a plus
- Ability to establish and maintain operational processes within a team
- Proficient with task and documentation tools: Jira, Miro, Confluence
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and scalable planning frameworks
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to both teams and leadership
- Comfortable facilitating meetings: stand-ups, status syncs, retrospectives, workshops
- Provide constructive feedback in a clear and respectful manner.
